carpeting that was glued down but the old glue was applied with a trowel leaving an uneven surface. Can this be used on top of old glue?


Thank you for your inquiry regarding Mapei products! You must first get the existing remaining glue down to a residue on the floor by mechanically removing it. Once removed, you will need to prime the subfloor using the Mapei Primer T, diluted 2 parts water to one part primer if over concrete, rolled on straight if over plywood.
