Does this need a mortar base for added stability? or can i install directly to the subfloor with some adhesive. Instructions doesnt say.


This model installs directly to the studs. It does not require a bed of mortar, but you may need to use some self-leveling mortar to level your subfloor before installation or you may need to use shims under the base if your subfloor is uneven or not perfectly level. There is no need to use adhesive, you will fasten all the flanges to the studs with screws.
