Can these be cut smaller than 36 inches to fit in door frame.


Easily with a hacksaw. I used my miter box the cut it straight.

Yes, a hack saw will easily cut the aluminum. Tin snips might deform the edges.

yes, you may want to trim the ends equally so the hole pattern spacing is equally distanced from the edges of door frame. A hack saw works well for cutting but recommend use of masking tape to mark cuts and protect metal from extra scratches if the blade wanders during the cut. If you have a good pair of tin snips for straight cuts then the snips work well for the trimming as well.
