How can I set it up to be manual only. I do not want override to come on at all


Remove the thermostat from the base. On the right side of the circuit board will be 7 small white dip switches . Dip switch #2 (2nd from the bottom) is for program or manual modes. Move the white dip switch to the left with a tooth pick or a ball point pen. Then cycle the Heat/Off/Cool switch up and down 1x to remove the program and be in totally manual operation.
