Does it have small on/off switch on the bottom? Such that I can turn lights on and off without dimming.

Does not need one (has a very narrow switch at bottom to use when changing bulbs). Mostly you use the main switch plate: - Tap once to toggle between the previous dimmer level and off. - Double-tap to dim to full brightness. - Use the narrow up/down adjustment buttons at right to adjust the dimmer level up or down.

Was this Answer Helpful ?The large rectangular button on the face of the device is referred to as the tap-switch. This button is used to turn on/off the lights. To use, you tap once to turn on to a preset level, double tap to turn on to full brilliance, and tap once again to turn off. At the bottom of the device, there is a F.A.S.S. (Front Accessible Service Switch) which serves as an air gap switch to completely separate the circuit which should be used when making any changes to bulbs.
Was this Answer Helpful ?There is a small switch at the bottom of the dimmer that basically turns the lights off completely. It's not meant for regular use though, in my opinion. It's labeled Front Access Service Switch in the instructions. I assume it's meant to make sure the light stays off from all locations while cleaning or servicing. To turn the light on to a dimmed level, you simply tap the button once. Tapping again will turn the light off. If you want full brightness, you tap the button twice, much like a double-click on a computer mouse. Tapping one time will again turn the light off. Whether you turn it off from full on or a dimmed level, the light will fade out, rather than go off abruptly. We like that feature, because it gives a couple of seconds to leave the lighted area.
