Does this have the "locator" night light as advertised?

The DVWCL-153P does not have a locator light feature. Instead, Lutron recommends the MACL-153M as this will have small indicator lights that emit a faint glow when the dimmer is off, and is still rated for 150W of compatible LED/CFL.

I am absolutely, 100% sure, that this model does NOT have the locator light. I emailed the company and they have confirmed this.

The switch I purchased does not have a locator light of any kind.

no no locator light. I have one on another original foot switch that came with my floor lamp. it's a glow in dark (orange) clear button for the reading lamp only. also that particular switch was a combo in that it had a slider for the top 2 bulbs and a button (the locator light) for the reading light. of course I could find the switch easily because of the locator. now that said those are very difficult to find. my original floor lamp switch that featured a slider, a button and the locator was impossible for me to find locally or by shipment from a supplier in the states. I can find the exact switch but it's a chinese manufacturer that does not list usa retailers. so you may have difficulty like I did in finding something exactly what you want. I like this one because I know where it always is and I can turn it on and off and slide the dimmer with my foot. hope this helps.
