An electronic low voltage dimmer certainly could help reduce buzzing from a light bulb if you are having this issue. However, there are some rare cases which it would not. Lutron would suggest reaching out to the manufacturer of your light to confirm compatibility with an ELV (reverse phase) dimmer.
