Why do you use Ni-Cad batteries? I rarely see them these days.


We have several technologies Lead Acid, Nicad and Lithium Iron Phosphate. We still use nicad batteries due to the reliability and price points nicad batteries offer. The Nicad has a longer shelf life and expected life when in a unit. The Nicad will last 90 mins in an emergency light.
