The maximum number of fixtures that can be daisy chained off of one circuit/switch will depend on the wattage rating of the switch and the current rating of the breakers. For example: CPX 2X4 ALO8 SWW7 M2 50.56 Watts max per fixture 120V 20A breaker So for this example - you can daisy chain 36 fixtures.
