How bright is this light compared to a 4 ft florescent tube light with 4 T8 32 watt bulbs?


32W T8 fluorescent bulbs' light output can vary depending on the manufacturer and color temperature. However, on average a 32-watt bulb at 3500k color temperature is 2850 lumens. The total lumens for a (4) bulb fixture would be around 11,400 lumens. However the fluorescent lamp shoots light in every direction, and only 1/3 of that light directly lights its intended surface. Also, the diffuser of the fixture will block out light as well. Unlike the CPANL LEDs all of the light will shoot down to the intended surface without much being lost. With that being said the CPANL will have a brighter light output vs the 4-bulb fluorescent fixture.
