how do I change the sponge?


Press the lever forward; the lever will eject the original sponge from the rollers. Slide the mop head off of the metal rod. Slide the refill head onto the end of the rod and pull the lever back towards you/ away from the mop head. This will pull the new sponged into the rollers.
