There is a gap between wall plate and wall. This is in a backsplash over sink so close fit is needed. Switch screws bottom out on wall. What to do?


Hi there! Try loosening the switch by 1/4 turn. This should allow the subplate to be tightened and therefore the wall plate should fit closer. It might take a few adjustments to get it right, but you should be able to get it to fit snug against the backsplash.
