Controlled by wall switch. Want outlet to run 24/7. Want to turn off light at wall switch. Will this fixture work that way.


Thank you for your inquiry regarding our porcelain pull chain socket and outlet device (part number 288). The outlet for this device receives the same power as the light. Unfortunately it will not work for your application for this reason: the pull chain will turn the light on and off and the outlet will always be on. Once you turn the light switch off, it will cut power to the device and turn both the light and the outlet off. Hope this helps!
