3-way switches are SPDT. 4-way switches are DP.and cross both throw positions . It can't be both. It might a DPST toggle SW. Which 1 of 3 is it?


This is a 4-way switch. All 4-way switches can also be wired as a 3-way or single-pole switch. Hope this helps clarify things for you!
