How do you attach the faceplate to the wall. The holes don't line up for a one gang box.


I believe you made the same mistake I made. I assumed the screw holes on the face plate were for the screws that go into the wall. That's not right: the blank plastic holes on the brush unit are for the screws that attach it to the gang box or bracket in the wall. The top screw holes are to attach the faceplate to the brush unit once it's mounted on the gang box. If you do it that way, it should work. Hope this helps!
