RESTART PROCEDURE 1. Have indoor display and outdoor transmitting sensor units at least 5 feet apart with nothing between them. Make sure units are not placed near other electronic devices for interference issues. 2. Remove all power from both units (including batteries and electrical adapter from display.) 3. Press any one of the buttons to completely discharge the unit from static electrical current (no batteries or adapter.) 4. Place brand new batteries into the outdoor remote sensor first, then plug adapter into indoor station. (You may test with only brand new batteries instead, as it may be an adapter issue. Please be sure you are using standard alkaline batteries dated at least 7 years in advance or testing to 1.48 on a voltmeter that reads in numbers. Hint: Use good quality Alkaline Batteries and avoid rechargeable batteries. It is possible to receive one bad alkaline battery in brand new packaging, so we recommend this procedure using fresh, new batteries. DO NOT PRESS ANY BUTTONS FOR 15 MINUTES. All data should be displaying again, thus your sensor can return to its proper location. If your display continues causing any problems, please reach our warranty customer support dept at http://www.lacrossetechnology.com/support/ or, by phone: 888-211-1923 Mon-Fri 8:30AM-5PM CST
