Can I use this product on aluminum with white rust?

Yes, The Loctite Extend Rust neutralized can be used on Aluminum. In this use the Extend Neutralizer helps preserve the surface and will slow down the activation process. However, the Extend product will not turn into a black coating. Rather it will dry to an opaque or clear protective coating. Free iron must be present for Extend to convert to a black coating. Keep in mind that a solvent-based topcoat is required afterwards.
