how does this do with pitting? can i apply to bare still let cure then powerwash and powder coat?

Thank you for the question. Loctite Extend Rust Neutralizer is a rust converter and does require light rust in order to work properly and is not recommended to be applied to bare steel. Power washing also would not be recommended as it may damage the coating. Powder coat has not been tested so there is no data available to predict expected results in this situation.
