Starting caulking basement with this yesterday. 24 hrs later is still tacky. Basement is at 55 degrees. How long should this take to dry?


Thank you for the question. The answer is yes, it would be expected to be tacky. This is a polyurethane sealant and not a fast cure product. Skin time is about 24 hours @ 78°F (25°C) and 50% relative humidity. Cure time will be longer and can take up to 7 days @ 78°F (25°C) and 50% relative humidity. This time is dependent upon the temperature, humidity conditions and amount of sealant used. Cooler temperature do increase the cure time
