Hello.. I have a 240 V outlet in my laundry room. I do not have a 120 V outlet. Does the laundry center only require to be plugged into a 240 V outlet or do I need an additional 120 V outlet?

Hello there, Lovett. Thank you for your question about the LG WKE100HVA WashTower. We understand you're wondering if a 240V outlet alone will be sufficient, given that your laundry room does not have a 120V outlet. The WashTower requires both a 120V outlet for the washer and a 240V outlet for the dryer to operate. This setup is common for combination laundry centers, as the washer and dryer have different power requirements. https://www.lg.com/us/washers-dryers/lg-wke100hva-washtower#pdp_specs To ensure safe and efficient operation, you may need to have an electrician install a 120V outlet in your laundry room. For any additional assistance or specific installation questions, please send us a private message on Social Media @LGUSSupport, and our team would be happy to guide you further. Thank you for considering LG for your laundry needs! —Renzo
