LG 24-in Front Control Built-in Dishwasher ( Stainless Steel ) With Third Rack, Dynamic Dry , 50-Decibel
I see the filter isn't self-cleaning. Is the filtration system removable? What is the recommended method for cleaning the filtration system?

Hello there, Sam. Thank you for reaching out. We understand your concern about the filtration system in the LDFC353LS Dishwasher. While the filter is not self-cleaning, it is removable for easy cleaning. Here's the recommended method for cleaning the filtration system: Remove the lower rack to access the filter housing. Remove the filter by turning the inner filter counter-clockwise. Both the inner filter and the stainless steel mesh will come out as one piece. Clean the filter: Empty out any large debris, then rinse the filter under running water using a soft brush or sponge. Avoid using steel wool or abrasive brushes, as they can damage the filter. Reassemble the filter and reinstall it by following the reverse steps. Make sure the filter is properly assembled to ensure optimal performance. Cleaning the filter regularly will help prevent odors and drainage issues, keeping your dishwasher running smoothly.
