The LG 4.5-cu ft High-Efficiency Front-Load Washer with Steam Cycle, Model # WM4270HVA can be stacked but comes with very specific instructions that come with the stacking kit (KSTK1) that you would have to refer to before installing it. The combined height of the Washer and the Dryer will be 77 1/2" so the question really is whether or not you have enough room within the closet. You will need about 18" of clearance above the units and if the closet has a door, you will need to have an upper and lower vent. The upper vent must be 48 square inches in size and must be placed 3 inches from the top of the door and the lower vent must be 24 square inches in size and must be 3 inches from the bottom of the door. The Unit must have at least a 5" clearance in the back and an inch on the sides for proper air flow...IFV
