Was this Answer Helpful ?Hello, The base has three 3/8-inch holes. One placed to each side of the jaws and one behind the anvil. Simply placed the vice on the bench and locate the holes where you want them. Then mark and drill. Bolts with nuts are best, however, if your bench is plenty thick, lag screws 5/16-inch or 3/8-inch (best) will hold plenty well. Always use all three mounting holes.
