How long before this assembly starts to show signs of rusting?


All Kwikset finishes are tested for durability in all weather conditions. For product maintenance, we suggest using warm, soapy water to clean it and then towel-dry the hardware. To protect the finish you can polish the knob with carnauba wax. We do not recommend using solvents nor harsh chemicals, which will void the finish warranty.
