Is the clicking sound normal when locking and unlocking door.

This occurs if the lock is jamming. Here are some steps to resolve this: check the door alignment, that the door jamb hole is at least 1 inch deep to prevent jamming, and perform the door handing step below: 1. Open door and extend latch to the locked position. 2. Remove the battery pack. 3. Press and HOLD the Lock button while reinserting the battery pack. Release button once the battery pack is installed. 4. The latch bolt will retract about halfway in and then extend to learn the orientation of the door.
