How do you replace the batteries


Please follow the steps below to replace the batteries in the SmartCode 913: 1. On the interior side, remove the side screws with the 3/32 Allen wrench or Phillips head screwdriver and remove the battery cover. 2. At the top of the interior assembly, you will see the word “Door.” This is the battery holder, slide it up and out from the interior assembly. 3. Install 4 new AA batteries in the battery holder. 4. Re-Install the battery holder into the interior assembly and re-install the cover.
