Can you fold it up with the miter saw still attached or will it tip over?

Hello! Thank you for your question. When transporting the miter saw stand, it is not recommended for the miter saw to be attached to the stand. We recommend to take off the miter saw with the attached rails, then you fold and move your stand to your desired location. Hope this helps. Thanks!
