Check valve leaks - can it be replaced?

Ive always known them to be called Schrader valves and you can get a tool which is usually the opposite end of a miniature service or shirt pocket screwdriver. Simply unscrew after making sure there is no pressure! Either lube or replace it by screwing back in not to tight snug is sufficient! Done. Bike shops should have a tool and the Schrader valve stems on hand!
