Item comes with 1/2 in and 1/4 in collet.Does the 1/4 in collet just slide into top of nut? Im unabe to remove 1/2in collet from the nut. nut.


the router is a 1/2, you slide the 1/4 inch collet into the nut and add your bit, do not take the nut off, leave it on and slide the 1/4 inch collet in then tighten the nut while depressing the collet lock button. should tighten up, mine does.
