Is CCW bit rotation a problem? Page 34 ( J ) says to feed work-piece from R to L = "climb cut". The next warning contradict this advice.

The reason there seems to be a contradiction is because when you feed the workpiece over the router on the table, the router is upside down so you work in the opposite direction as you would with the router upright and bit facing down. The router is still going the same direction over the workpiece in both instances.

If the router is "upside down" in the table, feed R to L. If handheld feed L to R. Neither of these create a "climb cut".

When using with a table, feed right to left. When using as a handheld router, move the router left to right. This is standard for any router made that I know of.

It would not be a climb cut unless you feed L to R.
