Can this be used with a raised panel router set that uses the larger bits? I know you can’t slow it down but would spinning a bigger bit be unsafe?

HF sells a variable speed controller for a router. If memory serves, it's about $15 or so.

Yes it would be very unsafe. Most raised panel router bits should be ran at 12000 rpm. This router runs at a constant 25000 rpm.

This is a fixed speed router, so bigger bits could be a safety issue. I would recommend making several shallow passes if you wish to use this router or use the router as a stand alone and purchase a variable speed to install in this table.
