Where can I find documentation/Install/Planning Guides

All you do is use drywall screws and screw the rails to studs, as far as layout goes your garage and what you plan on hanging will decide that. I will say I hang one large rail up high for taller yard tools like shovels and weed trimmer then below it stagger one to mount smaller hand tools like shears and hoses.

not sure therey is a layout/planning guide. as for install instructions, i just got a bunch of "hanging screws" and driled into my garage wall studs.

At the Lowe's I normally shop at, there were some Kobalt pamphlets in the Organization section where the Kobalt products are located. Within the pamphlet, there's an outlay of the K-rail system along with the various storage cabinets.
