Why buy this when you come by Ridgid with a liferime warranty ?

I have never used Ridgid tools but will give you my thoughts on my past experience on auto parts. I used to buy items such as starters, alternators that the dealer had great warranties on replacing their products with no questions asked. In the end the products kept going out and I did not have the time to keep going back, time to install or pay someone to put the item in so I found another store with a better product that lasted longer before going out. I am a believer in Kobalt tools they have great ergonomics well balanced and features. Bottom line for me is quality before quantity. I have many Kobalt tools in my possession and love all of them.
