Will the 24v 4 amp battery give the 24v compact 1/2 impact wrench more power or just more runtime

The answer is yes and no! The output of the bigger battery is more consistent, so yes, it delivers slightly more consistently high voltage and amperage, over a longer period of time. The 6AH battery pack is even better! Your tools will deliver slightly more torque with the larger batteries. And, over a longer time.

So heres the deal for the most part it wont give it more power. With that said tools that require heavy power such as the recip saw ( saw saw) Circular saw (skil saw) Do need bigger batteries becuase the small ones just cant provide the needed amps. The small batteries try for a while (while providing less power) then they thermal overload (all lights on power bar blinking while battery still has charge) if you experience that then buy a bigger battery i had to but 4.0 batteries dor those tools but my drill and small impact driver, oscilating tool, ect. Dont need the 4.0. Really though the compact impaxts

I like to know too, I saw a youtube video and they say they can definitely feel more power with the 4ah battery than the 2ah or 1.5ah oh the kobalt 1/2" impact wrench 650lb torque.
