Does the handle slide back in or always stick out when table is set up?

The handle is pulled out to extend the legs. It sticks out when the table is set up. TO OPEN: • Place the workbench on its end with the work surface facing you and the release handle pointing upward. • Push the button to unlock the release handle. • Pull the release handle all the way to extend the legs and lock in position. • Place the workbench on a flat and even surface. The workbench is now ready for use. TO CLOSE: • Remove all tools, including those attached, from the work surface. • Make sure the pivot points and sliding mechanisms beneath the workbench are free of objects and debris. • Place the workbench on its end with the work surface facing you and the release handle pointing upward. • Push the button to unlock the legs. • Push the release handle back into the table to fold and lock the legs in place.
