Does it test speed?

The Klein Tools Cat. No. VDV501851, Ethernet Cable Tester Kit with Scout® Pro 3 Tester, is designed for cable testing and verification functions and does not measure network speed or data throughput. If identifying network link speed capability is required, the Klein Tools Cat. No. VDV501770, Scout® Pro Max Network Cable Tester With Remote Set, can detect maximum network capability at either 1Gbps or 10 Gbps. It does not measure active speed. For true network performance or throughput testing, a dedicated network performance tester would be required.
