They have a rough cut saw that will leave a jagged and splintered edge. Use a fine tooth blade on either a table saw or a circular saw. If using a circular saw use a straight edge of some type clamped to the wood, a really straight cut is nearly impossible by hand. Set the blade depth so the teeth are halfway exposed on the other side of the wood being cut. Shallow blade depth helps minimize splintering.
