The dripline for an arborvitae is less than the recommended minimum distance. Where should I place the spike?

We use these for our Arborvitae and I just moved them a bit further out from the drip line until the tree expanded from natural growth.

Was this Answer Helpful ?I would stick to the recommended minimum distance. You wouldn't want to burn up the tree. The fertilizer will still get to the tree. It might just be a little bit diluted.
