Are these spikes suitable for Japanese maple bushes?

Maple trees are listed for use. I also use these around my Japanese Maple bushes and have had good results.

Was this Answer Helpful ?The package states that the Jobe's Fertilizer Spikes for Trees & Shrubs are recommended for use on deciduous trees and shrubs such as maple. If you still have doubts I suggest emailing Jobe's at www.easygardner.com, and/or calling your local college's horticulture department.
Was this Answer Helpful ?Jobes Tree/Shrub Spikes are comprised of molded fertilizer specifically formulated for the nutrition of trees/shrubs and should work fine on any large shrub. Be sure to follow the usage directions for the number of spikes recommended for each tree/shrub size. Jobes recommends five spikes for large trees and as little as one spike for small trees or shrubs.
