The package states that these fertilizers are recommended for deciduous trees and shrubs, which pecan trees are. For that reason I think the fertilizers will work. I plan to use them on my pecan trees. To be sure, however, I suggest emailing Jobe's at www.easygardner.com, and/or calling your local college's horticulture department.
Was this Answer Helpful ?Jobes Tree/Shrub Spikes are comprised of molded fertilizer specifically formulated for the nutrition of trees/shrubs and should work fine on any large shrub. Be sure to follow the usage directions for the number of spikes recommended for each tree/shrub size. Jobes recommends five spikes for large trees and as little as one spike for small trees or shrubs.
