Simple fix by replacing a battery pack with new cordless phone battery pack.
Was this Answer Helpful ?I use a range extender in my home and it works well. When you add the extender, have it within 6ft of the hub. After the hub has accepted the new extender, you can move it wherever you need the extended range. I placed mine about 50ft away from the hub and it works well.

Was this Answer Helpful ?Good question. I think they need to just fix it and send everyone a working one but get the feeling that they won't because it will cost them money and money is worth more to them then doing the right thing.
Was this Answer Helpful ?Without knowing what issues you're directly referencing, it's difficult to know the status of the issues. However, you should not have to purchase a new device if the issues you encounter that are resolved. Issues are typically handled by either upgrading the hub or by upgrading the devices’ firmware to address any issues encountered.
