Will this work for a 110 volt water heater..not a 220 volt. thanks


Yes it will work. On the 220 volt system you only break one leg of the 220 volt system or one of 120 volt wires. 220 volt heaters do not use a neutral leg. there is two hot wires and one ground wire. you break the 120v hot wire and the heater will not heat on 120v or a 220v system.
