Do u have to replace sink drain or can u attach dispoal to existing

The disposable is the sink drain, so yes you have to remove existing sink drain fitting and then connect to P trap below
Was this Answer Helpful ?If you have an existing Badger 1 or 5 disposal the sink drain connectors are compatible. If you have a non-disposal type of sink drain you would have to replace the parts.
Was this Answer Helpful ?I was replacing an older model ISE disposer, so I could have used the old mounting collar. I installed the new collar anyway. The hookup is the same for this unit as the old ISE Badger5 I took out.
Was this Answer Helpful ?I had a badger 1/2 HP and replace it with a Evolution SpaceSaver. Just loosened the old one, untwisted, removed the power cord, and reused that as well. It fit perfect on the Barger sink attachment in 30 minutes.
Was this Answer Helpful ?If you already have an insinkerator installed this one will mount to the existing flange. I do not know about other manufacturers but this model fit right onto our 15 year old flange from an Insinkerator Badger model.

Was this Answer Helpful ?The disposal comes with a new rim and rubber liner. You can easily attach the disposal to the old sink drain.
