Why does it say in the description that it is not recommended for Citrus? Does that mean it is not recommended to grind lemon and orange peels?


Yes, that would be what citrus means. Lemon, orange, lime, grapefruit, etc. This is why I bought a Badger. And really this "compact" is 12.25" high vs 12.625" so not really a big deal for me.
