I'm not familar with "Utility chisels". Is this sharpend from one side or both? Would it work for splitting pieces off of an old beam(with the grain)?


The Utility chisel/cold chisel is used to cut or shape through heavy metal and masonry. Yes, the flat chisel will be sharpened on both sides.
