Are these connectors allowed under the NEC code, local codes?


I would double check with you local code people but the are UL listed so it should not be a problem. Ron at ron.kipper@idealindustries.com

Local codes vary greatly. I can say these are UL listed and CSA Certified and their specs match those of a traditional wire nut.
