I cannot get these to go on the wiring. They slip on easily to the wires on the hot water tank but the the wires in the house just won't go in.


Hi Sabrina as you insert the wires you might twist them slightly. The wire range is 12 to 20 AWG solid wires. If you don't feel comfortable you can always use a twist-on connector like IDEAL's Tan Twister 30-341P it is in the stores as well. Have fun Ron at ron.kipper@idealindustries.com
