There is conflicting information on maximum wattage allowed. Lowes website specs say max wattage is 60 watts. but Kevin says the socket is labeled max of 7 watts. Fans commonly used to allow 60 watts. Which is correct?


Many people get this wrong (including staff answering). You can use a bulb up to a wattage of 60 -- the socket doesn't care if it's an incandescent or LED, but your eyes will!
