You can program the remotes to keep them from interfereing.

Thank you for your question! Yes, using one remote with one fan is possible. Here's a pro tip: when you are wiring "fan #1", please leave "fan #2" totally disconnected until you have the remote for "fan #1" connected & synced to the receiver. If you have power running to "fan #2" receiver, then it will pick up "fan #1" remote's signal.

Each remote / receiver pair can be programmed so that they do not interfere with each other. I found the manual online and it so indicated.
