Hunter 44-in White with White/Bleached Oak Blades Downrod or Flush Mount With Light 5 -Blade
Does close-mount option use a downrod?

Yes, it does. The fan is not really a flush-mount, but it does come include a very short downrod for a close-mount option. Blades on this model measure about 10" from the ceiling and the bottom of the lightkit extends down about 18". Compared to a different Hunter fan that we have that is a true flush-mount, this fan is about 2-3" lower, which is the approximate length of the shorter downrod.
Was this Answer Helpful ?2 down rods included. The short one is less than an inch and looks flush mounted. We used this mount in our entry, with a light kit. The ceiling is 8 foot with about 6.5 put clearance with lights.
Was this Answer Helpful ?Not really. There is a close mount rod that sticks out about an inch once it is fully installed, and the cover plate is in place.
Was this Answer Helpful ?IT DOES HAVE THE OPTION TO HUG THE CEILING..
